For the past decade, every productivity platform in the real estate industry has competed on features.

Agents got better at navigating software instead of better at serving clients. The 18+ tools they use became the job. It was either a “All in one” walled garden legacy platform they didn’t use (adoption rates of under 20%) or those 18+ “point solutions” that didn’t talk to the other solutions, needed separate training and support for each tool.
Rechat quietly created a new category for brokers and agents. An operating system for brokerages (BrokerOS) and a super app for agents. The Rechat App has a 4.9 out of 5 start rating with 834 reviews as of this writing.
Lucy was built to be a AI workforce that works while you sleep and helps you perform task that take hours or days and turn them around in seconds or minutes.
Voice is the future
In July of 2025, Greg Robertson at Vendor Alley wrote a piece when Lucy came out of beta and became available to all Rechat users: Hey Lucy, sell this house.
He wasn’t just writing about Rechat, he was writing about a shift he could see coming, the idea that voice would become a big part of how real estate works. Agents would be able to say a command and have it simply happen.
That was exactly what we had been building toward. We launched the campaign Hey Lucy.
The campaign began taking shape at the Further conference earlier this year, where we showed a version of Lucy that could respond to natural language commands and execute real tasks inside the Rechat platform, not demos, not mocked outputs, but actual work getting done.
The response told us something: agents did not need to be convinced that voice was valuable. They needed to see it work.
That is what we set out to film.
Real Agents. Real Listings. Real Work.
In late June, we brought a crew to South Florida to film five agents while they worked. No scripted narration. No feature lists. Just agents in their actual settings where they work, walking up to listings, sitting in their car between appointments, leaving open houses, talking to Lucy in the Rechat App and watching the work get done.
Each clip shows different commands and a different result:
- Build a single property website for this listing.
- Send a market report to everyone in my buyer pipeline.
- Update the CRM with notes from my last showing.
- Draft a listing description and social caption for this property.
- Run a buyer search for clients looking in this price range.
- Send a testimonial request to the clients I closed last week.
- Pull comps and vendor recommendations for this address.
Each clip is fifteen to sixty seconds. Natural light. Handheld cameras. Lucy’s voice and a floating Rechat UI added in post-production. The point is not production value. The point is recognition, that any agent watching should see their own day in what they are watching.
Agents were never going to type their way through their day. Lucy is not a chatbot responding to a prompt. She is a colleague who already knows the context. We ask sales professionals to do data entry instead of using their voice, that has never made sense.
What This Means for Brokerages
The retention story in real estate has always been about whether the brokerage has the agents back or not. Brokerages invest in technology hoping agents will use it, adopt it, and stay because of it. Agents want to be seen, heard and supported. The problem is that most platforms require agents to change how they work to fit the software and use a laptop or desktop to get their admin work done.
Voice on mobile inverts that. Lucy adapts to how agents already work, the calls, the drives, the walkthroughs, the moments between meetings where decisions get made but nothing gets recorded. When the interface disappears, the platform stops feeling like a chore or busy work, and starts to feel natural.
For brokerages tracking production per agent, that distinction matters. Agents who are not fighting their tools have more time for the work that actually moves deals.
See it in action
Hey Lucy runs through the end of summer across Meta, Google, and a network of national sites, with additional spots rolling out over the course of the campaign.
